Excellent rooms and very helpful staff.
When we arrived we were told the spa/pool was closed for refurbishment, nothing was disclosed when we booked and the hotel web site (the week we left) said it would be open from 31 March.
Top Tip
Bar/restaurant prices were simply ridiculous, consequently everybody just went out to eat/drink.
Reception recommended 2 restaurants - one close in Barberini (Il Vinetto), the other a taxi ride in Trasteveri (Taverna Trilluso) - both excellent.

The only thing exciting and different about this hotel are its prices. Any little extra be that a drink or a boiled egg for breakfast comes with the sort of price tag you'd associate with some of the most exclusive hotels in the world. A cup of tea from room service, try E16, then again maybe not for what is essentially a fairly standard hotel once you get past the reception area and bar
Top Tip
Check out the fantastic Le Vinerie bar/resturant just off the Barberini square at the end of the road
